Initially, Santa Fe Fiber had plans for its own data center. As the project progressed, we learned that the State of New Mexico maintains a world class facility in Santa Fe - and it offers space to other entities. Thus, Santa Fe Fiber enjoys rack space at DoIT (the State IT Center) housed in the Simms Building on Alta Vista. A number of co-locators at DoIT offer services on fiber and interconnect with other carriers. Beyond security, DoIt has heavy-duty back-up for both power and refrigeration. It also has a number of paths for fiber entrance and egress.
